Our philosophy is to encourage customers to become fully self-sufficient in their operation of Resolve. Once the system has been configured and implemented, we believe that customers should be given the opportunity to acquire real ownership of their system. If desired, we will help them become as proficient at configuring Resolve as we are. Our training aims to provide customers the level of autonomy that matches their expectations and individual situation.
Typically, training for new customers can be conducted at three levels: User, Power User (Supervisor), and Administrator. As an option, Train-the-Trainer training can also be provided.
The Resolve system is very intuitive and easy to understand for first time users. We provide User Training to new customers immediately prior to the system's go-live date. This approach ensures that users are trained on a test system that is as close as possible to the final application they will be using on Day One. In most instances, Resolve training only takes a couple of hours and is coupled with presentations run by the client aimed at familiarising users with the new working methods that are often being introduced into the business at the same time as the Resolve system.
The Power User training takes one full day to be delivered and provides an in-depth understanding of the Resolve client along with a significant amount of time spent on the use of the ReportWriter for the creation of ad-hoc reports. Design of Workflow along with the use of the Graphic Workflow Designer is also covered.
Administrator Training course explores the Resolve Administrator Console and on completion of this course the user will be familiar with the Administrator functions delivered through the Console application. Basic screen design, macro creation and issue creation are all covered. Security profile development and management are also dealt with. On completion of this course, the student should be capable of administering an installed Resolve system.
Train-the-Trainer Training is intended for trainers who will be responsible for training End Users, Power Users or Administrator Users. Prerequisite to this course are the above three training courses. This course delves into the very internals of Resolve and equips the attendees with sufficient capability to be able to deliver Resolve training at the level of each of the above courses. Since each Resolve implementation is unique, training and supporting materials are tailored for each customer and finalised once the bulk of the configuration work is complete, including screen layouts.
Periodically, we run training sessions that focus on particular aspects of the system, such as the ReportWriter, WorkflowDesigner or the MailMerge Wizard. These hands-on, practical training sessions are open to all customers. On demand, we would also be pleased to conduct specialised training sessions for existing customers who have recruited new staff or wish to upgrade their knowledge of the application.
